From the moment you turn off the road and go up the drive to the Sancroft Barns, you will be enchanted by its rustic charm, simplicity and beauty. 

The heart of our venue is the Tudor Threshing Barn used as a spectacular backdrop for your ceremony licensed for 125. Later it transforms into a fantastic venue for your partydance for up to 250 where our coloured LEDs really show it off in a new light … literally. Or it can be used as one single area for your ceremony, reception and meal for up to 50 then your dance; for cocktail parties; for christening parties, wakes, funerals and a myriad of other events, exhibitions or pop-ups. It's available all year-round.

There's the stunning courtyard: a real south-facing suntrap for your reception, or for you and your guests just to gather for a sit-down or chat.  On the other side of the Barn you’re into the old farm ‘stackyard’ where we have our lovely semi-permanent marquee that seats 135, but also gives you the all-important wet weather option for your reception. Here you'll find the service marquee, and a new fully accessible loo block too, both in easy reach of the Barn.

Or you can use the paddock for a true rustic countryside outdoor ceremony; and reception, meal and dance in giant marquees or Tipis, with no restriction on numbers. There’s mature trees and wild flowers, and loads of grass for glamping and camping.

Because we are a dry-hire venue, you get to choose all your suppliers: from caterers to crockery, linen to flowers, decorations to photography, music to make-up; it’s your choice – make it your own. And all around, you can see our Suffolk fields and hedges under the famous huge East Anglian skies above. We still have space in 2024 (with a 20% discount up to the end of Sep) and beyond so do please get in touch and come and see us.
